‘uncover the void’ zeigt 8 Installationen, die Kleidung im ungetragenen Zustand präsentieren. Jede davon findet ihre Form auf eine eigene Art. Das Wort ‘void’ verweist auf zwei Gedankengänge:  Zum einen spielt ‘void’ auf den Hohlraum an, welchen unsere Kleidung beschreibt, zum anderen charakterisiert ‘void’ den Moment der Leere, der ungetragener Kleidung widerfährt. Indem Kleidung durch ein Alter Ego erweitert wird, gelingt es ‘uncover the void’ den Wechsel von Absens- dem Ungetragenen und Präsens- dem Getragenen in eine ständige Präsenz zu verwandeln. Somit sind die Kleidungsstücke nicht nur Erweiterung unseres Körpers sondern unabhängige Charaktere, die eine eigene Geschichte erzählen. Dabei gelingt es der Kleidung im Moment da sie zur Installation wird, die Neugier ihres Betrachters und somit seine volle Aufmerksamkeit zu gewinnen.

Uncover the void consists of eight installations all having a very own concept of shape, whereas they all focus on the moment when clothes are not worn. Two main thoughts are implied: First, void resembles the moment of absence clothes experience when being apart from the body. Second, void relates to the space our clothing separates from it’s surrounding environment. In order to eliminate these moments of absence and in order to let the space which clothes take up become more obvious, the eight installations  of uncover the void present clothes when not dressed. Becoming independent objects some gain even more attention by growing in space or by increasing the curiosity of their spectators.  Clothes are not released from the functional idea of dressing but augmented by an alter ego.
